I've teamed up with my friends and fellow authors Maya Rodale, Katharine Ashe, and Caroline Linden in an exciting new project called Once Upon a Ballroom. This little ebook contains a brand new short story from each of us, plus exclusive excerpts of our forthcoming books.

In my short story, "The School of Wooing for Inept Book Collectors," we revisit the Burgundy Club. James and Belinda are childhood friends who can't seem to move from friendship to love, however much they want to. They receive both help and hindrance from Tarquin and Celia Compton (The Amorous Education of Celia Seaton) and the Duke and Duchess of Hampton (aka Blake and Minerva of Confessions from an Arranged Marriage).

The Importance of Being Wicked launches a new series for me. In a parallel to the short story, the excerpt I've chosen also takes place at a ball, a rather raucous public masquerade. The book won't be available until November 27th but I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Once Upon a Ballroom is available free at most ebook sites. It may still be priced at $0.99 in some places as we wait for the free price to be matched.
