A Birthday Present for You

Since it's my birthday, I decided to give you a present. I'm holding a contest for books by two of my favorite authors. And they are both SIGNED.

GLITTER BABY by Susan Elizabeth Phillips takes us to the exotic world of modeling and Hollywood and is full of SEP's trademark emotion and wit.

THIS DUCHESS OF MINE by Eloisa James is a wonderful "marriage in trouble" book. I adored the whole Desperate Duchesses series and I think Jemma and Beaumont are my favorite couple.

All you have to do is fill in my contest entry form. Easy peasy! But if you want to comment and tell me your favorite book by SEP or Eloisa, I'd love to chat. I've read almost all of them!

Hello birthday girl!! Many happy birthday wishes to you!! If I was there, I'd bake you a cake. What's your favorite flavor? I love red velvet and carrot. I AM A BIG ELOISA JAMES fan. My favorite series is the Essex Sisters. With that being said, my favorite book is Much Ado About You. I think Tess is the perfect heroine-true to herself and true to her family! How about you birthday girl?

Happy Birthday!!!
One of my favorite SEP is Heaven, Texas written way back.
I love the matchmaker book Match Me is You can I have never read a SEP book that I didn't enjoy. i am just the worst remembering titles and names. Maybe it is because I have read so many.

Eloisa's books always have the best covers to go along with the stories.

Put on you tiara and be the birthday Queen this evening.
No joke, I asked for a rhinestone tiara for my birthday a few years ago and pull it out every once in a while for a pick me up.

Happy, Happy birthday!

@Pollie. I think my favorite cake is lemon. I also love fruit cake - unlike many. It tends to be a polarizing topic LOL. Loved all the Essex Sisters books, especially Much Ado About You… Or is Pleasure for Pleasure my favorite? Not sure. They are all so good.

@Johanna: see above re PFP. Yes, Mayne is utterly swoony. So great that he appears in so many books! Love Natural Born Charmer but Match Me If You Can is my favorite Chicago Stars book.

@Deborah. That's the only SEP (I think) that I haven't yet read. The heroine is the daughter of the couple in Glitter Baby.

@Gigi. Loved Heaven, Texas. Eloisa's cover are gorgeous aren't they. We have the same publisher, Avon, and they do a beautiful job. OK, off to dig out my tiara!

@Susan. What a lovely idea! My dad lives in England but I did have a long chat with him this morning.

Believe it or not, I love fruit cake too-but I think of it for Christmas because that's when my mom makes it for the whole family. Lemon sounds delicious. I think tomorrow I'll make one in your honor! Miranda, hope your day was great!! Happy Birthday again. P.S. I LOVED your latest book-Miss Seaton's education was certainly enlightening!!!

Miranda -
Happy Birthday! I hope your on the West Coast and away from this hurricaine so you can enjoy you cake and ice cream today.

My favorite book by Eloisa James is A Duke of Her Own the last book in her Desperate Duchesses series. After "meeting" Leopold, Duke of Villers, in the preceeding books, I was thrilled he finally got a book of his own! It was nice to finally see the man behind the veneer as he truly was and for him to find true love in Lisette. A truly wonderful storyline that kept me entranced from the very first paragraph to the last sentence.

Not sure why I'm blabbing all this to you, just feel like I'm still on this high of reading a really really good book and just had to share XD Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

@Carrie So glad you wandered over. The whole Essex sisters series is marvelous. And it's always such a treat to discover a new author with a long backlist. I wish you hours of pleasure with Eloisa's books. (The downside is when you've read them all and the months between new titles seems sooo long). Thanks for the birthday wishes.

@Beebs. Rafe is such a sweetheart! I loved him right from his first appearance in Much Ado About You. Thanks for the best wishes and for telling me you enjoyed Celia. I am so glad to hear it.
